A Utah cat that went missing on April 10th has turned up safe and sound 700 miles away in California – after it was accidentally shipped in an Amazon box. Lehi resident Carrie Stevens Clark says she was completely baffled when her cat, named Galena, appeared to have vanished from inside her home. She says she searched “every nook and cranny,” plastered “missing” fliers all over her neighborhood, and posted numerous pleas on social media – but Galena remained missing. "Nothing made sense,” Clark says. Then, a week after Galena disappeared, Clark received a call from someone in California who identified the cat from her microchip. It turned out Galena had jumped into a box containing an Amazon return and was shipped to the online retailer’s return center in Los Angeles. Although the kitty had gone six days without food or water, she was “completely unharmed” by the unplanned journey, Clark says. Galena is now back at home in Utah. What’s the strangest thing your pet has done?
