The funny part: The pro who ‘serviced’ Spitzer in this call-girl ring was also named Kristin.

Simon Cowell was a guest on Oprah yesterday. He was introducing the world to his latest discovery Leona Lewis. Leona won Simon's X Factor in Britian and her song "Bleeding Love" is climbing the charts here. Simon also talked American Idol of course. His favorites are David Archuleta, Brooke White, David Cook and surprisingly Jason Castro. But Simon also showed he had a heart. He had a Big Give moment and helped a struggling family.

'American Idol' finalist Amanda Overmyer pleaded guilty to DUI back in October 2006 near her hometown of Mulberry, In. She received a suspended sentence of 60 days and was placed on 180 days probation, which ended in August 2007.
According to the National Enquirer, on the night of her arrest Amanda had a blood alcohol level of 0.108 and spent six hours in the jail before her fiancé posted her bail.
Chrissy Cavotta's friend Jessica Mitchell is suffering from cancer. Jessica is a 34-year old mother of two who has been battling the disease for 7 months. There was a fundraiser for her family this Sunday, March 2nd at The American Legion on South Main Street in Mechanicville. The funds will be placed in a trust for Jessica's two kids Liz and Matt. American Idol was back in Atlanta last night. A Feura Bush girl Janelle Bechdol auditioned for Simon, Paula and Randy. She moved on to Hollywood, but if you bllinked you missed her. They only showed her running out fo the judges audition room screaming.

Michael Jackson's "Thriller" album turns 25 this year. Rumors abound that Michael or some the artists that worked on the new "Thriller Remix Album" will perform on the Grammys February 10th. The much talked about Heath Ledger drug party video from a few years ago has been released. Entertainment Tonight and The Insider had the video, but refused to release it.
By now, you've heard that Academy Award nominee Heath Ledger was found dead yesterday in a Manhattan apartment. He was only 28.
He was found facedown at the foot of his bed with prescription sleeping pills nearby. Police said there was no sign that Ledger had committed suicide. Heath had an appointment for a massage at the SoHo apartment. The massage therapist and a housekeeper found his naked body at about 3:30 p.m. They tried to revive him, but he was already dead.
Authorities said they did not suspect foul play but that medication was found near the body. A police spokesman said, "There were some drugs found around the body – prescription-type drugs". The spokesman says there were two bottles of prescription sleep aids, and that the prescriptions were made out to Ledger.

Yesterday, Bill Clinton got caught nodding off during an appearance at the Convent Avenue Baptist Church in Harlem. Clinton was there during a service to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Clinton has had napping episodes before. Among others, he nodded off at a Mets game and at Ronald Reagan's funeral.
Amy Winehouse was filmed using crack cocaine. The 19 minute video has been released to the media and is on The Sun website.

The New York Post hired a Jessica Simpson look-alike to sit in the stands at Texas Stadium on Sunday to distract the Dallas Cowboys during their playoff game against the New York Giants.
The Post said, “We sat her in the third row behind the Dallas bench, and she must have made the difference - Romo’s final drive was stopped short of the end zone.”
