A laid back, mellow gal – that’s right, Dude is a “she” – with the most intriguing gold-flecked eyes.  Her owner had to move into a nursing home and could no longer care for Dude and her 6 housemates.  With her plush tiger coat, she wants nothing more than to relax in your lap and purr under a loving hand.  This time of year is tough for adult cats, especially mature cats such as Dude – with so many kittens around, the older guys and gals tend to be overlooked. But remember – today’s kittens are tomorrow’s cats!

The Animal Protective Foundation has many wonderful pets for adoption.  All cats and dogs are spayed or nuetered and are up to date on all vaccines.

We're having a kitten shower - Saturday, May 10th from 1 to 4 pm at the APF.

Kitten season has arrived!  Now that warm weather is here, kittens and mom cats are coming, and the shelter is in dire need of supplies.  We are throwing a kitten shower on Saturday May 10^th in order to stock our nursery.  Stop by for some light refreshments, check out the cats and kittens we have for adoption and drop off a gift from our Wish List.
