Britney Spears wrote a shocking post to Instagram on Tuesday (October 25) going on an unprovoked attack on Selena Gomez. Spears references Gomez’s 2016 speech about women revealing their ‘bodies on Instagram.’ The singer, 40, slammed female celebrities who make ‘righteous lectures’ and ‘shame’ other women. Spears also references Gomez and BLACKPINK’s 2020 music video, “Ice Cream,” saying, “This is NOT something I would do, yet those women are the very ones who get 4 million dollar budget videos made about sucking and licking on homemade ice cream!!!!” The attack comes as a surprise since Gomez was a guest at Britney’s wedding back in June, and Spears went out of her way to thank her for attending and wishing her happiness.
