Ellie Goulding asks fans to “live in the moment” when attending her live shows. The 36-year-old singer-songwriter performed in London and made the request after watching old footage of concert goers watching the show unfold rather than trying to catch every moment on their phones. “Put them in your pockets. I looked back at old festival and gig footage, and everyone is just living in the moment and feeling free,” Goulding told fans. She spotted someone in the audience on Facetime and asked them to “say goodbye” to the person on the other end. “I appreciate you are on FaceTime but say goodbye, I love you and thank you for watching,” Goulding told the fan’s friend. What do you do with the footage you capture at concerts? Would you attend a concert where cell phones and cameras are banned?
