Ed Sheeran Says Wife Developed Tumour In Pregnancy

According to a press release, the “Perfect” singer will release his fifth studio album, Minus, on May 5. The project follows the birth of Ed Sheeran’s second daughter. While working on his latest album pronounced “Subtract,” Sheeran says a series of events “changed my life, my mental health, and ultimately the way I viewed music and art.” The events include his legal victory over a copyright infringement dispute involving his 2017 hit “Shape of You,” mourning the death of buddy Jamal Edwards (31), and a family medical emergency. “Within the space of a month, my pregnant wife got told she had a tumor, with no route to treatment until after the birth,” recalled Sheeran, who rewrote his upcoming album to serve as a reflection of his experiences and that creating songs is his “therapy” and helps in “making sense of my thoughts.” What is your therapy? How do you deal with life when it gets tough?
