Justin Timberlake’s reunited with his NSYNC teammates Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, and Joey Fatone to record “Better Place”—the group's first song in more than 20 years—for the film Trolls Band Together was officially announced on Thursday (September 14).
Later, the artist shared a behind-the-scenes look at how he proposed the idea for the song on Instagram. He called the song, "a love letter to fans."
In the opening moments of the video, the 42-year-old insists to his comrades that recording a song for the animated feature would be a fantastic opportunity for the “Bye Bye Bye” hitmakers.
“Better Place” will be released on September 29th, and Trolls Band Together will hit theaters on November 17th.
