The summer 2023 meet at Saratoga Race Course was another big year for the legendary track. According to NYRA, over 1.1 million racing enthusiasts fans went through the gates. That makes 2023 the 8th consecutive year where attendance has surpassed one million people.
NYRA CEO David O'Rourke thanked fans for making 2023 another successful season at Saratoga:
Thanks to the fans who visited Saratoga Race Course over these 40 days, and all those who watched and wagered from home, the popularity of the summer meet continues to exceed all expectations.
As far as wagering, NYRA reported an estimated $800 million in revenue for Saratoga, making it the track's 3rd largest in history.
