There's A Possibility of Snow This Weekend

While the track of the storm and the actual severity of it are still unsure, there is a possibility that The Capital Region could see it's first big snow storm of the season.

Abbey Grant, a NWS meteorologist said -

“There is a decent chance for snow, potentially light with moderate periods,”

The storm is expected to arrive late Saturday night into Sunday morning. Obviously the timing could change between now and then. What we do know is the the temperatures in the area will be cold enough for actual winter weather, it's still too early to talk about how much we could get or where the storm will actually effect.

Ben Noll, who is a meteorologist from The Hudson Valley says that there is a moderate chance that the mid-Hudson Valley could see 6 inches or more on Saturday night.

No matter if the storm bring snow, rain or even a mix of both, this storm has the potential to impact a large portion of the Country, including The Capital Region.
