Vermont native Ben Ogden made history by winning a silver medal in the Olympic cross-country sprint, becoming the first American man to win an Olympic medal since 1976. Norwegian skier Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo claimed his second victory, leaving Ogden 0.8 seconds behind. Ogden, a University of Vermont grad and former NCAA National Champion, received support from his family, Vermont skiing community, and former coach. With more opportunities to compete in team races, Ogden and Team USA aim for gold at the Olympics.
