Alan Hamel, widower of Suzanne Somers, revealed that the creation of an AI twin of the actress was originally her idea. The couple had been discussing the concept since the 1980s and were inspired by futurist Ray Kurzweil. Hamel has been working with an AI company to create a lifelike version of Somers, which he demonstrated at a conference earlier this year. The AI twin has been programmed with information from Somers' books and interviews to provide answers to a wide range of questions. Somers passed away in 2023 after battling breast cancer, leaving behind a legacy that includes this innovative AI project.
