Country music legend Dolly Parton is set to receive an honorary Oscar for her humanitarian work. The 79-year-old singer will be honored with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award in November for her decades-long efforts. Parton, who has been nominated for Oscars in the past, is being recognized for her work with the Dollywood Foundation and her literacy program, "Imagination Library." The award will be presented alongside honorary Oscars for Tom Cruise, Debbie Allen, and Wynn Thomas at a ceremony in Hollywood.
