Fox Television Network president Rob Wade confirmed that the long-running dance competition show "So You Think You Can Dance" is not expected to return for another season. The show, which last aired in May 2024, has been a summer staple for Fox since its launch in 2005. The last few years of the show were marked by various troubles and controversies, including a two-year break during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite attempts to reinvent the show in its 18th season, including new judges and a documentary-style format, Fox has no plans to order another season at this time.
