Fyre Festival Founder Selling Brand: “Time to Pass the Torch”

Billy McFarland, the promoter behind the infamous Fyre Festival, has announced the indefinite postponement of Fyre Festival 2 and is seeking to sell the Fyre brand. McFarland, who previously served time for defrauding investors, stated that the brand is bigger than any one person and needs a team with the scale and experience to realize its potential. The road to Fyre Festival 2 was turbulent, with conflicting reports about the event's location and accommodations. McFarland hopes to step away from the brand and allow a new team to bring the vision to life. The future of Fyre Festival 2 remains uncertain as the brand is put up for sale.
