Gatorade Citrus Cooler, a popular flavor from the late '80s and early '90s, is making a comeback in a limited-edition collaboration with Netflix's Stranger Things.
The revived flavor is similar to tangerine and is considered by fans to be the "best flavor" of Gatorade.
The new release includes an "Upside Down" variety, which is darker in color and may be a different flavor listed as "Black Citrus Cooler."
Fans are excited about the return of Citrus Cooler and are calling for it to be offered as a permanent flavor, along with nostalgic packaging like glass bottles and the original logo.
The limited-edition Gatorade flavors and packaging inspired by the 1980s are expected to be available in stores later this fall, coinciding with the series finale of Stranger Things.
Other brands like Chips Ahoy!, Kellogg's, Eggo, and Doritos are also releasing themed products related to the show.
