Have We All Been Wearing Our Winter Coats the Wrong Way?

A simple winter coat hack is going viral after Chicago creator Jessica Alzamora shared a video claiming many people wear their fur-lined hoods incorrectly. According to Inside Edition, the clip quickly gained millions of views as viewers tried the trick themselves.

In the video, Alzamora shows that instead of wearing the hood loosely or for style, folding the fur trim inward and pulling the hood snug around the face and ears can help block cold air and wind. The Weather Network reports the technique is meant to create a tighter seal, helping trap warmth on cold days.

Not everyone agrees. Some experts point out that fur trim was traditionally designed to face outward to break wind and catch snow, a detail also noted by The Weather Network. Still, many social media users say the inward-fold method feels warmer and more secure.

According to NDTV, the debate has turned the trick into a full-blown trend, with people testing both methods and sharing their results online.
