HBO Max has announced its third price increase in three years, with plans rising by $1 to $2 per month. The streaming service, owned by Warner Bros Discovery, offers a range of content including the DC Universe, HBO, and Harry Potter libraries. With 122.3 million subscribers worldwide as of May 2025, HBO Max is set to launch in the UK in early 2026. The price hikes will affect different tiers of the service, with new subscribers immediately impacted and existing subscribers seeing increases by their next billing date after November 20. Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav stated that the price increase reflects the quality of content offered by HBO Max, following similar moves by competitors like Netflix earlier this year.
