The 2024 Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting ceremony is set to take place on Wednesday, Dec. 4. The 74-foot tall Norway spruce tree will be adorned with 50,000 multi-colored LED lights and a 900-pound Swarovski star topper. The event will be hosted by Kelly Clarkson and feature performances by the Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Hudson, and the Radio City Rockettes. The ceremony will be broadcast on NBC and can also be streamed on Peacock. The tree will be on display through mid-January 2025 before being milled into lumber for Habitat for Humanity.
