Malcolm-Jamal Warner Dies at 54

Actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, best known for his role as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, has died at age 54. According to People and multiple sources, Warner drowned while swimming during a family vacation in Costa Rica on July 20, 2025.  

Warner’s career spanned four decades, including roles in Malcolm & Eddie, The Resident, and 9-1-1. He was also a Grammy-winning musician and director.

At the time of his death, Warner was married and had one child. His family has not yet issued an official statement.
