Michelle Trachtenberg's Cause of Death Revealed

Actress Michelle Trachtenberg, known for her roles in "Buffy," "Harriet the Spy," and "Gossip Girl," was found dead in her New York City apartment at the age of 39 in February. The NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner has determined that Trachtenberg died of natural causes from complications of diabetes mellitus. Police responded to a 911 call at her luxury apartment building in the Columbus Circle area, where she was found unconscious and unresponsive. Trachtenberg's mother discovered her and called for help. Authorities stated that her death was not suspicious, and her family requested privacy for their loss. Trachtenberg was known for her role as Dawn Summers on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and had a successful career in film and television.
