Miley Cyrus Donates $1 Million to Rosa's Place Housing for Homeless Women in Los Angeles

Miley Cyrus has committed $1 million through the Miley Cyrus Foundation to support the Downtown Women's Center's HOME Campaign, which includes the development of Rosa's Place, a new supportive housing project in Los Angeles's Skid Row. Rosa's Place will provide 97 permanent apartments for women who have experienced homelessness, particularly those fleeing violence. The announcement was made during the Every Woman Housed Gala, where Cyrus and her mother were honored for their advocacy for women and survivors of violence. Cyrus emphasized the importance of home as a safe space and expressed her admiration for the strength and resilience of the women she has met through the Downtown Women's Center. This initiative builds on her long-standing commitment to addressing homelessness, particularly among youth and vulnerable populations.
