Nintendo announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 has sold 3.5 million units globally in its first week, setting a new company record. Priced at $450, the console achieved the highest global sales level of any Nintendo device within the first four days of release. With a target of 15 million units sold by March 2026, the strong launch puts Nintendo on track to meet its goal and solidifies the Switch brand's position in the gaming market.
