NYT’s Wordle Is Headed To TV With New Game Show Adaptation

Savannah Guthrie, a dedicated Wordle player, has been announced as the host of a new show that will bring the popular online game to life. Jimmy Fallon revealed on "TODAY" that he will be an executive producer of the "Wordle" game show in partnership with The New York Times. Guthrie, who has been a fan of Wordle for years, will begin filming the show this summer after a pause in production due to personal reasons. The show, which has been in development for two and a half years, is set to bring the daily puzzle-solving game to a wider audience in a game show format. Daly and others have praised Guthrie as the perfect host for the show, which is eagerly anticipated by fans of the game.
