Getting paid to play video games sounds like a dream job, and one lucky gamer could soon make nearly $900 just for playing Grand Theft Auto 6.

Virgin Media Ireland is offering one person €800, approximately $900, to spend eight hours playing the highly anticipated game. That's roughly $111 an hour, and the company is even providing a free copy of GTA 6.

The best part? The winner doesn't have to play all eight hours at once. They can spread their gaming time throughout an entire week.

There is one requirement beyond playing the game. The winner must share an honest review of GTA 6 on Instagram or TikTok, tagging Virgin Media Ireland and identifying the post as a paid advertisement.

According to Virgin Media Ireland, applicants don't need professional gaming experience. They just need to explain why they'd love the opportunity.

Unfortunately, there's a catch for American gamers. The competition is only open to adults living in the Republic of Ireland.

Applications are being accepted through November 15, with the winner expected to be contacted within seven days of the deadline.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to arrive November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

For one lucky fan, spending a few hours playing one of the year's most anticipated video games could turn into a pretty impressive payday.
