But the owners have plans for the future
In an announcement on Facebook Tuesday, the owners of Burger 21 in Latham said they will close permanently on Wednesday.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce Burger 21 will be closing its doors for the last time tomorrow, October 30th, 2024. Since our journey began in 2014, we’ve cherished every moment serving you and being a part of this amazing community.
Owner Matt Stygles ran the restaurant with his son Logan and daughter Parker. Burger 21 opened in 2014 and operated for ten years at the Village at New Loudon, a residential and commercial complex on Route 9. No reason was given for the closure.
Though the eatery is shutting down, Stygles says they will continue the family business on the road with their mobile restaurants, Backroads Food Truck and The Coop Food Truck.
Burger 21 will close its doors permanently at 8:00 Wednesday evening.
