After 30 years on B 95.5, Chad gets his own holiday
February 10th has special meaning for B 95.5's Chad O'Hara. It's both his birthday and the date in 1996 when listeners first heard him on the B 95.5 airwaves. He remembers working the late shift that night and playing 'If You Leave Me Now' by Chicago as his first song.
During the past 30 years, Chad has become a steady voice for the Capital Region and a familiar presence beyond radio through his work with the Ronald McDonald House, Equinox and community efforts in the City of Cohoes.
To celebrate the milestone, Albany County Executive Dan McCoy surprised Chad with a proclamation from Albany County recognizing his three decades on the air.

Congratulations and thank you Chad, we are very proud of you!
