Will it reopen?
The Times Union is reporting that Scene One Entertainment, a local cinema company that operates Movieland in Schenectady and the Wilton Mall Cinemas, may be taking over the shuttered Spectrum 8 Theater in Albany.
So far, no comment from Screen One or the current owners of the Spectrum, so any kind of reopening date is unknown.
City records show Scene One has submitted for a permit to operate the eight screen cinema that abruptly closed in February.
