The pizza chain is down to 1 restaurant in the Capital Region
There's one less parlor to get your favorite slice in Clifton Park. Blaze Pizza has apparently closed its doors according to Steve Barnes at the Times Union. Barnes says the space, located in a strip mall adjacent to Clifton Park Center, has been cleaned out and now sits empty. Blaze Pizza's official website lists the restaurant as closed.
Reddit users say the restaurant's last day was April 18th and there is now a sign on the door that says 'closed forever'.
At one point, Blaze Pizza had three Capital Region locations - one of which was in Scotia at Mohawk Commons, but that closed in September. With Clifton Park closing up shop, this leaves one location in business at Stuyvesant Plaza.
On Tuesday, popular barbecue restaurant Smokey Bones abruptly shut down, much to the surprise of customers and staff.
