A local deli is stepping up after a number of delicatessens closed around the Capital Region.
Got a gift card for Gershon's, Genoa Importing or Primal Butcher? Don't throw them out! Cardona's Market, specializing in Italian foods and catering will honor gift cards from any of the above for a one time $25 in store credit during the month of March.
Co-owner and Executive Chef Robert Cardona Jr. says they realize the timing of all three businesses closing up shop over the course of a couple weeks has been a major inconvenience.
We are aware that local residents may have gift cards that are no longer valid in the wake of the recent closures of several local delis, we would like to offer the opportunity for the community to redeem and reclaim at least a portion of the value of these gift cards at Cardona’s.
If you have a gift card for one of the delis that closed, you can bring it to Cardona's for a one time single use $25 credit at any of their locations in the month of March.
Cardona's has three markets in the area:
- 340 Delaware Avenue, Albany
- 9 Cobbee Road, Latham
- 222 Washington Street Saratoga Springs
