The incident occurred Friday evening
A Saratoga County sheriff’s deputy had their patrol car stolen from behind a substation and driven over an hour away by Jordan A. Salas, 35, of Clifton Park. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on a Friday while the deputy was processing another arrest inside the office. Salas got into the running vehicle and drove off, leading to a search for the stolen patrol car. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
