The accident happened around 6:30 Friday morning.

Colonie Police have released the victim's name -
Migdalia Aulet, 58 years old from Schenectady.
They've also made an arrest as a result of the investigation.

Release Status:
Mr. Mabeus was arraigned in Colonie Town Court and released on his own recognizance

Colonie Police have re-opened the section of Wolf Rd. where the accident occurred.
There is still very limited information regarding what happened but as the investigation continues and authorities release more info, we will share it with you.
Wolf Rd. in Colonie has been shut down from the Dunkin at 186 Wolf Rd to the Speedway Gas Station due to a fatal car/pedestrian accident.
Colonie Police said that they responded to the accident after receiving a call around 6:30, Friday morning.
At the moment there is little information about what actually occurred but Colonie Police Lt. Anthony Sidoti has confirmed that they are ruling it a "hit-and-run". There is no vehicle description at this time but once we have more information about the story, we will make sure to share it with you.
Wolf Road will be closed in that previously mentioned area until further notice.
