A small plane was mid-flight when it lost one of it's doors why flying in the area of Stiglmeier Park in Cheektowaga.

A spokesperson for Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority said that the plane lost one of it's rear doors around 6pm last night. Thankfully there was no damage or injuries reported. The pilot of the non-commercial plane, which had 2 passengers on board, was able to land safely at the Signature Aviation terminal at The Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
