He comes from WPIX 11 in New York City
Turning on the afternoon and late night news, you may see a new face on your screen. NewsChannel 13 announced the arrival of Steve Kuzj. He'll be anchoring alongside Rachel Tiede at 5pm, 9pm and 11pm.
During his 15 years in journalism, Steve has worked in Phoenix, Los Angeles and most recently, New York City. His wife is a native of Saratoga, where the couple currently live with their two kids.
I got into journalism because I love to tell stories and share experiences. I’ve covered the thrilling, the jaw dropping, and the heartbreaking events of humanity in some of the biggest cities across this country. To be able to do that now here in the Capital Region, close to family and friends, with a station and team as reputable as NewsChannel 13 is more than just a privilege — it’s a mission. I’m looking forward to talking to viewers and everyone who calls upstate New York home. If you see me out and about, please stop and say ‘hi’. And if you’ve got a story to tell, I want to help you tell it.
Steve's first day on air is today (3/4/24).
