The wait is almost over.
The long anticipated opening of Hattie's Restaurant in Albany is near! The restaurant based in Saratoga, which features southern cooking with a Louisiana flare, will officially welcome customers on Thursday, March 14th.
Hattie's is taking over the former Lombardo's Italian Restaurant on Madison Ave, which was a mainstay in the city from 1919 to 2018. Meanwhile, Hattie's has its own long history in the area, opening its first location in Saratoga in 1938.
The Times Union reports the kitchen at Hattie's will be lead by veteran area chef Mark D. Graham.
The new Hattie's will be open for dinner Monday through Saturday from 4pm to 9pm and brunch from 10am-2pm on the weekends.
