Jon Rothstein from CBS Sports is reporting that Marquette University Assistant Coach Nevada Smith will become the new men's basketball head coach for Siena University.

Smith, who has spent the last five seasons with Marquette, was interviewed by Siena officials on Sunday according to the Times Union. He would replace Gerry McNamara, who left Siena for Syracuse University after leading the Saints to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2010.
