Snow and wind expected during morning drive hours
Although not much snow is expected to accumulate, a few squalls are expected to move through the area during peak morning drive times. Wind gusts could cause visibility issues.
About an inch of snow is possible between 6am and 9am around the Capital Region, but the bigger concern is blowing and drifting snow making it difficult to see - plus roads becoming very slick in a short amount of time.
Heads-up: Snow Squalls Possible Early Tuesday (tomorrow) mainly 4-9am which can result in low visibility from windy conditions & falling/blowing snow. Drive carefully during the A.M commute & allow extra travel time, especially from I-90 northward. #nywx #mawx #vtwx #ctwx pic.twitter.com/X5I6jJyOsO
