Utility Work will result in alternating lane closures in Milton.
If you take NY Route 29 between Saratoga Springs and Rock City Falls, the New York State Department of Transportation is alerting of planned utility work that will cause slow downs and lane closures this weekend.
The planned closure will take place on NY Route 29 at the intersection of Rowland Street in the Town of Milton, just west of the Saratoga Springs city line, and will be between 7AM and 5PM on both Saturday and Sunday.
Flaggers will be present to direct traffic through the work zone. Rowland Street carries Saratoga County Route 47, which heads past the Saratoga County Airport and the Milton Town Center before ending at the Village of Ballston Spa near Route 50.
Delays are expected and drivers are asked to plan for extra time needed for their travels. Construction activities will be dependent on the weather, which could include some Light Snow this weekend.
