This weekend's NCAA tournament will bring an extensive list of road closures
In addition to it being a holiday weekend, a major sporting event is expected to bring tens of thousands of fans to Downtown Albany. Friday begins the NCAA women's basketball tournament at the MVP Arena. The first game begins at 2:30, games continue Saturday & Sunday, with the final game scheduled to play Monday night.
As expected, police and city officials are preparing for the arrival of fans. An extensive list of parking restrictions and road closures was posted on Facebook by the Albany Police Department - see below for all the places to NOT park.
