Yes, Expect a White Christmas in the Capital Region!

A system moving toward the area will bring snow our way

A band of snow will will bring a fresh coating to the Capital Region Monday night into Tuesday with about 1-3 inches possible. Some parts of the area could see as much as 6 inches as the elevations get higher.

If you're traveling for Christmas Eve, snow will likely cause some problems in the morning hours on Tuesday, so give yourself extra time to get to your Christmas destination.
