Everything you need to know before the show

Benson Boone’s Wanted Man Tour takes over MVP Arena in Albany tonight, July 16 with special guest Olivia O'Brien.

There are still tickets available for the show through BensonBoone.com

Heading to the show? Here are some things to keep in mind as you prepare for the night thanks to MVP Arena:

Show Times

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m.

Traffic and Construction

Heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic is expected to begin increasing around 4 p.m.

Construction is also taking place in the immediate area and is expected to slow traffic. Concertgoers should plan to arrive early to allow extra time for traffic, parking and entry delays.

Parking

The MVP Arena Parking Garage is located behind and attached to the arena at 1 Market St. in Albany.

Guests parking in the garage should use the arena entrance located on Level 3.

Parking costs $25 per vehicle, and cash and credit or debit cards are accepted. The garage has a clearance of 6 feet, 6 inches.

Availability is not guaranteed. Additional parking options are available through Park Albany and Downtown Albany. Rates and availability at surrounding garages and lots may vary.

Bag Policy

Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches are allowed inside MVP Arena.

Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches, approximately the size of a hand, are also permitted and do not need to be clear.

Larger bags and other prohibited bag types are not allowed. There is no storage or check-in available for prohibited bags.

Diaper bags are allowed for guests attending with young children and are subject to search.

For a full list of prohibited items, visit MVPArena.com.

Mobile Tickets

Security will scan tickets directly from guests’ phones.

Ticket holders should download the AXS app and sign in using the same email address used to purchase their tickets before arriving.

Tap the ticket icon at the bottom of the screen and select the event.

AXS Mobile ID uses technology designed to protect tickets, so screenshots and printed copies will not work. Barcodes also time out, so guests should open their tickets as they approach security.

Cashless Concessions

MVP Arena concessions and merchandise stands do not accept cash.

Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.

Guests carrying cash can use the Broadview Reverse ATM, located on the concourse near Section 126, to exchange cash for a prepaid Mastercard.

There is no activation fee. Cards can be issued in amounts ranging from $20 to $500. The first bill inserted must be $20 or more, followed by bills in any denomination.

A digital receipt will be sent by text message, and any remaining balance can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted.
